Holistic Marketing - A New Way of Looking at It All

Sedona Professionals has had the privilege of learning a new type of marketing from Larry Rosenberg, Ph.D, Director of Communication of BR Consulting, Inc. in Sedona.

BR Consulting is a global educational innovation source focusing on brain education, holistic health, and collaboration for peace. In the past 35 years, Larry has been a consultant, trainer, coach, manager, professor, and speaker in the areas of marketing, leadership, global-local strategies, and intercultural communication. Larry’s presentation to the Sedona Professionals was in high gear, an approach to a non-traditional component of business promotion called “Holistic Marketing”.

Open your mind for Genuine Learning...
Larry began his presentation by asking each individual to open his and her mind to ideas, some familiar, and some unfamiliar as to increase the probability of “genuine learning”. He went on to define his key terms of “marketing” as “who you are” as a business owner, “what you have to offer; what you do”, and how you “win and keep customers”. He discussed some general terms to business marketing including product/services, pricing, image, marketplace, setting goals, creating strategies, and how these relate to each business. He gave visual examples as to the “Be, Have, Do” concept relating to vision, values and relationships.

What does "holistic" mean?
Larry then went on to discuss “holistic” as the three components of “body, mind, spirit” and a breakdown definition of each from the health aspect to thoughts and emotions, and the spiritual self. He moved on to discuss the visual he provided showing what “Holistic Marketing” looks like and the connection of the “body, mind, spirit” in the marketing spectrum i.e., face to face, phone, email, brochure, website, and media. He then took everyone to the next level of understanding the physical messages we send out through our body as the “marketer”.

Larry emphasized the power we have in the holistic marketing action
if we use the energy systems as one.

Participate and Connect...
We were led into some physical movements, exercises that sharpen the body and mind communication. Larry suggested a conversation with clients using the “Plan, Do, Check, Action” strategy. He also gave ideas involving meditation, positive, sincere thoughts and relearning response habits. He indicated that, “Response is habit, use the power of awareness and make the choice of a different response”. The message was to pass on these ideas and techniques to clients and have a successful connection.

Unique and powerful Resources
Larry gave a variety of unique sources for strengthening the energy systems including Dahn Yoga classes, Self-Discovery workshops, a Power Brain Method workshop, and Answer-within-System training that has been found to be very successful in South Korea.

His last visual displayed a re-cap of his presentation and finalized the concept of improving and expanding the body and mind capability, engaging in spiritual power, conversing within the mind, and the combination of all can result in greater marketing success in any business.
