Sedona Auto Dealer: Fritz Barnard
Professional Car-Sales Consultant presents...

Buy your car locally! It will pay off!

In the crazy world of mass media and internet ads, TV, radio and now “texting,” we are being bombarded with products and services by the hundreds every day. Where to go?

For the past eight years, I’ve been in the car-sales business with Jim Babbitt Ford Lincoln Mercury, the FIRST Ford Dealer in Arizona (1912), having spent most of my life in the food business, but that is another story. I help people every day through the process of figuring out what their needs are in a vehicle, what they liked or disliked about their current vehicle, what will work for their needs, (now and into the future), and family budget. Buying a vehicle can be a big investment, generally right behind buying a house, and needs to be done carefully. It’s an important decision. I will work with and for you, and do the best I can to meet your needs!

I can help you decide which vehicle(s) will work for your needs, but now that I’ve sold you on the vehicle, why not go “down the road” to save some money?

In this case, “down the road” means going to Phoenix for a Ford, Lincoln or Mercury. Everyone who works in Northern Arizona lives here because they want to live here, not because it’s the cheapest place to live; (it’s not) nor because they earn the highest wages (they don’t).

In order to earn your business and keep you in Northern Arizona, I think you must consider that:

  • Spending your dollars here keeps your tax money here, to improve everyone’s quality of life. These tax dollars support education, roads, development, and other aspects of the lifestyle we all love here in Northern Arizona. The dealership giveback to many charities, and other programs, and gets involved in community activities, too!
  • Spending your valuable time to go all the way to Phoenix, only to go through the whole process again and again to save a few bucks seems like a waste of time to me.
  • It is costly to drive down there, just in fuel costs, and then add lunch and or dinner, and your “savings” just cost you more!
  • When you need a “favor” or just some simple assistance, don’t you think that your salesperson in the Valley would find it tough to be much help on your behalf?
  • The dollars you spend will help support and sustain others who want to live here with you, and you probably have friends in common, or know someone who knows your Sales Consultant. This is just a good neighborly way to stay connected to your community.

I know that the perception may be that you can save “Thousands” in Phoenix. Let me clarify. The dealers in Phoenix have around 5,000,000 people who live there, so the odds are, they “have one chance” at you. This is frequently why you can feel “pressured”- they know they may NEVER see you again. Contrast that with the fact that of the hundreds of people I’ve delivered vehicles to, I live here too! I’m not going anywhere, and I WANT you back the next time, and the next time, and the next (you get the picture). I can’t earn your business if I’m not what I say I am.

We are here to send you home in a car…we don’t collect them.

The dealers all pay the same for the cars. That’s not to say that a particular dealer in Phoenix may have the ability to sell a car at a loss to “get you in”, or advertise the “loss leader”. If we have a like vehicle, we can usually get real close the their advertised price on a “selected” unit. Most people realize that a car dealer MUST make a profit, to stay in business. We are here to send you home in a car…we don’t collect them. So we will do everything we can to make that happen!

The “Best Deal” is not always the cheapest price. I wouldn’t go to Phoenix to save a few bucks on a product, only to find that their customer service is all the way down there, and I’m here. I want it to make sense for everyone, and most people will try to keep their business local, provided the vehicle is what they want and the money is
fairly close.

I’m convinced that PRICE IS THE EASY PART- HOPEFULLY YOU WILL CHOOSE TO BUY FROM ME AND Babbitt Ford, because of our integrity, and our commitment to service now and after the sale! I’ll introduce you to the boss! And the mechanic!

Lastly, the personal relationship that you can develop with your dealership and your sales consultant is important. I regularly keep my clients informed when a special deal comes along, or a new vehicle comes in that they may be interested in. I’m here as a consultant, not just a sales person. I will just help you through the process of buying a car, and make it easy and FUN! So call me right away, and start having FUN NOW!!

Lets’ get together for a cup of coffee, and talk about your next vehicle!
